Calling all Ireland-based professional hairstylists! Are you a trendsetter with an eye for innovative colour and style? We want to see your most inspired and technically flawless looks.

THE CHALLENGE:

Create a well-executed, inspirational and modern colour look on your model (of any hair type, gender or gender identity). The judges will be looking for colour, technique and placement that is complemented by a beautiful style and finish. Take inspiration from upcoming trends and sources, to demonstrate a fashion-forward, innovative and pioneering look that reflects your professional skillset and interpretation.

THE RULES:

  • The Competition is open to all Ireland residents who are employed by a hair salon as a hair stylist or own a hair salon.
  • No full wigs allowed (wefts and extensions covering up to 25% of the head are acceptable).
  • Make sure your entry photo is less than a year old.

  • Models do not have to be professional, but they have to be confident, self-assured and ‘own’ their look.
  • The clothes, makeup and accessories should enhance and complement the overall look that the colourist and stylist have created.
  • The hair colour will be the overriding factor in any decision-making process.
  • Open to UK residents aged 16+ on the entry opening date 19th January 2026.

Entrants can interpret this as they see fit, but the final look must share the same values as L’Oréal Professionnel Paris. These are:

  • Fashion: Taking inspiration from current or upcoming trends
  • Innovation: Classic elements, with a brand-new twist
  • Pioneering: A colour that could be a future trend

Calling all creative, socially savvy, hairstylists in the UK and ROI! Are you ready to showcase your colour mastery in the dynamic world of video? The L’Oréal Colour Trophy Social Colour Creator Award is your chance to showcase a stunning hair transformation brought to life through a reel.

THE CHALLENGE:

Create a reel on Instagram or TikTok (9:16 aspect ratio, 30-60 seconds maximum) of a finished hair look. The reel should be artistic in vision and execution, creative in compilation and edit, impactful and highlight the entrant’s colour, total finished look and creator skillset. Take inspiration from upcoming trends and sources, to demonstrate a fashion-forward, innovative and pioneering look that reflects your professional skillset and interpretation.
